The most surprising game was a loss of Montenegrin SC Derby (2-1) on the court of UAE Dubai on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Dubai 77-69. 24 personal fouls committed by SC Derby helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Serbian center Aleksa Vlajic (207-2006) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds. Belgian guard Nassim Houari (189-2007) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was center Maruan Cicic (209-2006) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. SC Derby's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
Very significant was Borac's (#6) just 2-point road victory against Crvena Zvezda 65-63. It was an exceptional evening for forward Pavle Nikolic (200-2005) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Petar Radovic accounted for 18 points and 4 assists. Guard Andrej Kostic (186-2006) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Crvena Zvezda in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
Very important is a home loss of Croatian Cedevita U19 (0-2) against Serbian Partizan BG (1-1) on Thursday night. Host Cedevita U19 was defeated by Partizan BG in a tough game in Zagreb 67-76. The best player for the winners was Aleksa Dimitrijevic who scored 9 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was Dino Subasic who recorded 13 points and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: BC Igokea Aleksandrovac U19 team won against KK Krka Novo Mesto U19 team on the opponent's court 77-69. Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana U19 team managed to outperform KK Split U19 team in a home game 82-72. KK Vojvodina Novi Sad U19 team lost to undefeated Cibona Zagreb U19 team on the road 73-81.
